Carpet shampooers and tile cleaners are interesting cleaning appliances. Sometimes they don't appear to clean anything, and sometimes they clean really well. At my home, I noticed dirty trails in the carpet throughout our hallways. I used five different brands of shampooers before I was able to remove all the stains. What did I learn from that experience?

The more powerful the suction, the better the shampooer cleans

Our idea for the Prolux Storm shampooer is based on that experience. Our goal was to create a carpet shampooer and tile cleaner that connects with and fits any Wet/Dry or water vacuum cleaner. This allows users to take advantage of some of the most powerful deep-cleaning vacuums available.

For example, if you visit your local hardware store and check the suction power of a Wet/Dry shop vacuum, you will notice that these machines provide powerful cleaning performance. While a high-end commercial shampooer can cost over $700, the Prolux Storm allows users to have a carpet shampooer and tile cleaner solution at a fraction of the price.

How the Prolux Storm Works

The Prolux Storm includes settings for deep carpet cleaning and tile cleaning. It is designed to attach to many wet/dry and water vacuum systems, including brands such as ShopVac, Ridgid, Stanley, Stinger, VacMaster, Rainbow, Hyla, Robot, Ocean Blue, Prolux, ProAqua, and Ritello.

When connected to a water-rated canister vacuum cleaner, the Prolux Storm uses a large container for hot water and cleaning solution. During cleaning, it sprays and injects cleaning solution onto the floor while the rotating scrubbing brush adjusts to the floor height.

The adjustable brush system helps clean different surfaces, including carpet, tile, and grout areas. The connected vacuum collects the dirty water during the cleaning process.

Designed for Flexible Vacuum Compatibility

If your wet/dry water vacuum does not have a water-rated electrical hose, the Prolux Storm system is designed to work with a standard non-electrical hose.

The Prolux hose connects to the vacuum hose and includes a power cord that can connect to the vacuum or wall outlet, helping provide power for the cleaning system.
