This is an excellent vacuum cleaner. The suction is incredible. It cleans my area rugs to the perfection, from the sand that my dogs carry on their paws to their hair. The container is brilliant (no more bags), you can see what is in it ( this is important for someone who does a lot of puzzles - me ). My previous vacuum with a big electric brush did not pick up half the dirt in comparison to Prolux. This is my third vacuum and in my opinion the best one I ever had. I recommend it for pet owners, it is brilliant on the rugs and hardwood floors.
