  • Amtek 2 Stage Motor - The Amtek 2 Stage bypass motor produces over an amazing 130 Cubic Feet per Minute of airflow. The Amtek motors are designed to last for decades and are UL certified to be safe. Yes it could be the most powerful vacuum in the US is rated for a home up to 12,000 square feet.
  • Bagless and Washable HEPA Filtration - The Prolux Central Vacuum System does not use bags but has 3 levels of filtration. It has the bagless dirt chamber (clear view window to know when its full), the washable Micron Pre Filter and then the Washable HEPA filter.
  • Accessories- Not only does it include the quiet muffler system, but it also includes the end pipe (you wont need this pipe if your pumping your air outside but it is included in case you are not). Mounting this unit to your wall is easy with the included mounting bracket (you will just need to provide 4 screws). This unit only does not include hose or piping but if you search for "Prolux Central Vacuum" you can find this same model but sold with Power Nozzle hose kit and/or 3 inlet piping kit.
  • Other Features - Powder Coated Steel Construction. It comes with a 10 year Warranty on all steel body parts! The Prolux Central Vacuum System also includes the garage vacuum port. As Central Vacuums normally are mounted in the garage this extra port allows you to install a extra hose (also sold by Prolux) just for vacuuming your cars, garage or shop. External Muffler for quiet operation. The user may also remove the external muffler if they wish to hook a hose up for blowing or inflating.

They Stand Behind Their Product

I've had this vac for 8 years. It started to have an issue. I contacted Prolux. To my delight, they sent me a prepaid label to return. I purchased a strong box to return it. When returned back to me, it stated no issues were found but they replaced the bag/filter. However, I was still having the same issue (I believe it was electrical). They again sent me a prepaid label to return. However, it was lost in transit. They replaced the vacuum!! So pleased with a company that stands behind their product without having to ask.

It Sucks and is supposed to!

I did install a inline cyclone filter so i don't have a dirty filter bag and it has been working great. I did leave a 3/8" hole in the cyclone bucket because the machine is just very strong and this works for me.

Wow! What an upgrade!

Built a large home in 2017 and installed a $3500 cyclonic central vac. The motor was rated for our size home but was as loud as a jet engine and didn't work well. You needed ear plugs from down the street if the garage door was open. It was stupid. After a year of back and forth with the online seller, we only used it once in a while. After 5 years, the thing gave out.Bought this unit and installed it quickly. Hung it with 3 quick screws and piping was almost a perfect match.This unit works great! So much more suction than the over priced cyclonic unit.We use 50' in-wall hoses and they pull in easily. Even our air powered carpet beaters zip to life. I can stand next to it and it's not hurting my ears. Now the neighbors can't document how often we clean.Thanks to ProLux, we have a great central vac system again!
