Prolux 4 in 1 Bagless Pet Grooming Vacuum

Before the grooming vacuum arrived, I told my husband that I bought him the best gift that he never knew he wanted. He was VERY skeptical of a pet vacuum, especially since our dog has been vacuum-phobic since day 1. She loves to be brushed, and other reviews mentioned how quiet this vacuum is, so I thought I would give it a try for my own sanity. When we got a Dutch/German Shepherd hybrid, I foolishly expected her to be like my previous Dutch Shepherd (that never shed). I was going insane vacuuming up "puppies" on a daily basis because she sheds more daily than the weekly cumulative amount of my last 3 dogs combined. Unless you have a GSD, I can't describe, in a meaningful way, just how much this mongrel sheds. We don't have carpets, but we vacuum almost daily because I don't like to wear fur-covered socks and pants, and I don't like fur wafting up to my nose! In addition to vacuuming, we would deshed the dog a few times per month. The problem with deshedding (before getting the Prolux pet grooming vacuum) was that we had to do it outside away from the doors and sidewalks. Unfortunately, the weather isn't always agreeable when we have time to brush the dog. Also, we can't send the kids in the yard unsupervised with the dog, just in case she bolts after a cat or squirrel. This vacuum-phobic fur factory LOVES the Prolux grooming vacuum. I couldn't be more pleased! Even on high suction, she's content to roll onto her back and expose her belly while getting a good deshed in the house. She thinks that she's getting pampered at some fancy doggy salon (spoiler alert - I'd never waste money on such frivolous things). Now I can vacuum less fur (from the floor) twice a week than I was previously vacuuming daily. I highly recommend this vacuum for anyone with a German Shepherd or other high-shed dog. I realize that it's not marketed like a flobee, but my kids want me to try it on them (with the clippers) during their next haircuts because they HATE "itchy" hair all over them during hair cuts. I'm excited about the cleaning attachment because I expect it will be great for clean up when I cut their hair. Thank you, Prolux engineers, for an ingenious product that is well-executed. I hope it's a great success on the market. At this price point, it SHOULD take the market by storm!

This grooming vacuum makes the chore of taking care of my grand dogs cuts a breeze. It's eliminates the mess usually associated with their grooming.

Quiet and does a good job.

With the price of grooming going up I thought I'd give this a try. So far a nice buy, multiple grooming head for cutting and raking which is a plus. Good suction for my Aussie thick fur. Large container for hair and quiet enough when running. Very easy to clean also ! Very light weight and compact for storage. So far happy with the performance!

This product does a wonderful job. It has a large collection tank, long and flexible hose and a long electric cord.
I am very please with this purchase.
