First let me start by saying I had never even heard of Prolux before. Doing online research though in search of a new reliable vacuum that is upright and has a bag, my husband actually found your company. I love the vacuum! Unlike other uprights I have owned, it came completely assemble except for the handle, which was a breeze to attach. I will admit I was concerned for the weight of the machine, but I swear this vacuum is self-propelled, or at least it seems like it is. Very easy to push on thick carpet and I love that all I have to do is press a button with my foot to change to hardwood flooring in my kitchen. I love that all the attachments are conveniently stored on-board. Very easy to change from upright to using the attachments. The only thing I'm not sure about is the lever on the back of the nozzle to adjust the suction power. Not really crazy about it but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. And, it's relatively quiet compared to my old 12 amp vacuum. I love this vacuum and would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.
So far so good!!!
This vacuum replaced an old Panasonic vacuum and we love it! Our Panasonic vacuum of 30 years died and we originally looked to get a new Panasonic. Unfortunately, they were getting lots of bad reviews. We have found that this is a lot like our old vacuum. If you can't handle a heavy vacuum, buy something else, but if that is not a deal breaker, this is a great vacuum! And if you too are replacing an old Panasonic, you will not be disappointed!
While I will still use my other vacuum for my plush carpet, because this one leaves too many lines, it really is a great vacuum for my flatter carpets down-stairs and the furniture and stairs too! And I love how everything is right there on the vacuum.
I was at a vacuum store and bought a $500 Simplicity! Brought it home and had buyers remorse! I had a 7 day return period so I did some research and found this one so I ended up returning the Simplicity. It does a great job on carpets and decent on my tile floors with a lot of additional tools to help you clean those hard to reach areas. Honestly, I liked this one better than the one that was $300 more!!!! Also, I had a Dyson for years thinking it was great not to deal with bags, however, I'm glad to have bags again so I don't have to empty the canister every 10 minutes and get it all over, plus, the guy at the vacuum store encouraged bags over canisters, although I can't remember his exact reasons why... (He did sell both types of vacuums.)
