Had it for a year - absolutely LOVE it

This vacuum has great suction for cleaning my hardwood floors & carpets! After a year of ownership I can strongly recommend this vacuum. I don't do a lot of these reviews, much less a 5-star, but this is really an excellent product which I use constantly. The HEPA bags catch pet hair/dander effectively and are a decent price. The bags also fit in properly and do not leak dust into the casing of the machine, leaving a mess to clean up. The cord retraction actually works better than any vacuum, hairdryer or appliance I've ever owned. The variety of attachments is really helpful. I love that there is a way to slide the vacuum's hose/sweeper head into a slot on the side of the machine for storage. The hose itself is strong - no sign of a crack or breakage even though I pull it around by the hose sometimes (my bad). The entire unit is very sturdy and looks a bit like the ultra expensive Miele.I can't say enough about how great this product is. I was NOT paid to write this - I came back after a year to write this so hopefully that tells you how impressed I am!

So Far Works Like a Charm

My old workhorse of a Eureka had to go a few years back. After a couple of Eurekas that weren't as good (accidentally killed the first one, second OK but bagless and I don't like the chore of cleaning the filters each and every time), I decided to try Prolux. So far it reminds me of my old Eureka. Plus the company's attitude, helpfulness, and humor is much appreciated.

I have a cat and was constantly vacuuming using a popular band of bagless upright vacuums. When the 3rd one in as many years broke, I finally decided to get a canister vac with a bag. I read many reviews both on Amazon and elsewhere and decided on the Prolux Tritan. I have hardwood floors and it really works well. I do have to be cautious though as so far I have had to rescue 2 cat toys and a refrigerator magnet from the bag!Very happy with the purchase

Upstairs Vacuum

we needed a second Kirby for the upper flor of our home so my wife did not have to carry the vacuum up the stairs. We got the same vacuum we have except the one I bought is like new and works that way. The pricing saved us a great deal of money and will last years. It was delivered on time and package well. CTX Water UV Canister Vacuum and Air Purifier with Lifetime Warranty

If you are considering buying the CTX Water vacuum I recommend doing it immediately. By now, we have all seen the black water left in the canister after the first use. Yes, it is disgusting. I almost didn't leave a review because of how dirty my water was after the first use. Even worse, there was so much debris pulled out of the rugs and floor, that I could not empty it into the drain or toilet. I was a afraid it would clog the toilet. I emptied canister into a strainer so the debris would not enter the toilet. Below is a picture of the stuff I emptied into the strainer. None of this was visible prior to vacuuming. Evidently, there was a rubber band embedded in the rug. This is embarrassing, but impressive! I highly recommend this vacuum.
