    Excellent!

    We purchased the Prolux 2.0 backpack vacuum about a year or so ago. I've been waiting to write a review until I put the vacuum to the test. We use our vacuum at least 3 times a week, and find the vacuum has good suction, and going from hard to carpeted surfaces is excellent. Cleaning under furniture and doing stairs is easy with the wand. What I find important with this type of vacuum, is that the filter needs to be cleaned after 2-3 uses, for optimum suction. What's important with a good vacuum cleaner, is customer service, and the ability to buy parts for it. Prolux customer service is excellent. We contacted Prolux to see if we could get a replacement part, and Mary was on it. Her communication and customer service is top tier.

    This is my second prolux, it has never let me down and I’m pretty tough on a vacuum. I also love the fact that it is American made.

    Trash compared to Terravac

    I've owned this for 6 months and also own a Terravac by Prolux. Upon 1st inspection, I could tell this was made of low quality plastic material compared to the Terravac, which is awesome. I should have returned it but decided to give it a chance. After 6 months use, the main brush has stopped picking up anything and there's no instructions on how to fix the issue. I tried taking everything apart to the point of breaking the main brush roll. I would not recommend Prolux anymore.
